A 44 year woman standing at a crossroads, wondering if any direction is better than another.  How does she know?  Hell lady, just pick one because anything is better than standing in the middle!!   As is a single mom of 2 amazing girls, a dog and a cat, busy is an understatement, but there is always room for a whole lot of lazy, functional depression.   She’s lived a lifetime of sorrow having lost both parents within the past few years, her job a year ago and more recently, her sanity, so……..it’s time to stuff the dignity and pride aside and get on with living again.  She’s starting her own movement for herself, about herself in hopes that she will once again find her TRUE  self.  I am that woman.   A chubby diamond in the rough ready to sparkle with sweat and burn through the muscle pain to a healthier ever after.

  1. Monica, I ran across your blog while looking at Robin’s FB. I have read every post you’ve made and have really enjoyed them all! Sounds like you are very motivated to get healthier. I’m proud of you. I look forward to keeping up with your blog.

    • THANK YOU SO MUCH, Ash!! It means the world to me to have such support from everyone. My blogs are pretty real with nothing held back or edited so I appreciate everyone following my journey and hope to inspire people along the way as I talk about the reality without the fluff of getting a fitness regime started. Hope all is well with you!!

  2. Hello. I have read your writings and received encouragement from you; and you just stopped writing in 2012. Are you still writing. I need your guidance. Thank you
